GRAWN, Mich.—Great Lakes Wellhead, Inc., founded in 1986 by current president and CEO Bruce Rosema and Kim Morin, both former employees of Houston-based Gray Tool Co., has served Michigan and the northeast U.S. for more than 30 years with the sales and service of wellhead systems, wellhead installation, wellhead and valve sales and valve rebuild and reconditioning. According to Rosema's son, Eric Rosema, who joined the company in 2002 and has been there ever since, Great Lakes Wellhead got its start in the void that was created when large companies like Gray Tool left Michigan as the state's northern Michigan Niagaran Reef Trend development began to slow down in the mid-1980s and majors Amoco and Shell moved on.
