Crawford county, Mich.— Marathon Oil Co. had Ensign Energy Services Rig 161 moving in and rigging up at press time this week on the State Beaver Creek 1-14 HD1 (SL: NE NW SE, Sec 11-T25N-R4W, Beaver Creek Twp., Crawford Co.), a planned Devonian Detroit River Group horizontal drain hole that will be drilled approximately one mile east of the nearest previous Devonian-age oil or gas production, from the prolific Beaver Creek Field.
