Traverse City West Senior graduate Scott Lautner awarded 2014 academic scholarship by Michigan Oil & Gas Producers Education Foundation (MOGPEF)

LANSING, Mich. —Michigan Oil & Gas Producers Education Foundation (MOGPEF) President Jeffery Cook and MOGPEF 2014 Scholarship Committee Chairman Mike Coy last month announced the awarding of academic scholarships to six graduating Michigan high school seniors who plan to pursue careers in the crude oil and natural gas industry in fall 2014 at a Michigan college or university. Scott Lautner, who graduated last week from Traverse City West Senior High School, was awarded the MOGPEF scholarship for his academic achievements, participation in extracurricular activities, volunteer efforts and his aspiration to study chemical engineering.
