LANSING, Mich. — Shreveport, La.-based, Brammer Engineering, Inc. was the biggest buyer both in acreage leased and total bonus bid at the second-largest auction sale — in terms of total bonus paid — of state of Michigan-owned oil and gas lease rights in history, May 1,2008, here. Brammer spent more than a million dollars for leases in each of three different counties, including more than 1.9 million in Roscommon County and more than 1.8 million for leases in Missaukee County.
