AAPL announces April 4 geographic information system seminar in Grand Rapids

WORTH, Texas—The American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) has announced that it will conduct a geographic information system (GIS) seminar on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Holiday Inn Downtown in Grand Rapids, Mich. The seminar will introduce participants to the fundamental concepts of GIS and its application to oil and gas industry and other related fields, explore data collection using the global positioning system (GPS) and the basics of cartography / map design using the latest GIS software, ArcGIS for Desktop 10.2.
