WOMEN IN MANUFACTURING GRADUATION - 2009 APPLICATIONS OPEN!

On the 19th of November apics NSW and the Department of State and Regional Development hosted a graduation ceremony, recognising the efforts and contribution of the participants to this year's Women in Manufacturing Stepping Up Advance Program. 14 women from ten Australian manufacturing companies participated and completed the eight-month program. Acknowledging the dedication and efforts of these women, program coordinator Deborah Rose said that it was a privilege to be involved with women who were so enthusiastic about building careers in and making a meaningful contribution to New South Wales' manufacturing and supply chain sectors. "Being able to up-skill women to better address the gender imbalance in the manufacturing sector, is very exciting", said Deborah.
