PLEASANT, Mich. - Michigan oil and gas drilling activity slipped to a modern record low level in the first half of 2014, with the 22 holes drilled to completion from April through June bringing the total for the first six months of the year to only 42, according to drilling activity statistics compiled by Michigan Oil & Gas News.
