Crude oil production up more than 5 percent in first three quarters of 2010 over same period of 2009

PLEASANT, Mich. — Michigan crude oil production during the first three quarters of 2010 was up by more than 5 percent over the same period of 2009, with operators reporting the production of a total of 4,356,679 barrels oil from January through September 2010, according to Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Office of Geological Survey production data.
