West Bay Exploration stakes offsets to late 2008 Lantis et al 1-29, Jackson County Trenton oil discovery

JACKSON COUNTY, Mich.— West Bay Exploration Co. has staked two offsets to its late 2008 Ordovician Trenton oil discovery in Section 29 of Napoleon Township (T3S-R2E) here, the Lantis et al 1-29 (SL: SE NE SE, Sec 30-T3S-R2E), applying for permits in late June for a northwest offset in Section 30 and a south offset in Section 32. Proposed are the Lantis et al 1-30 (SL:SE NE SE, Sec 30-T3S-R2E), a planned vertical hole to be drilled approximately 75 feet west of the discovery well on the same surface pad, and the Jennings 1-32 HD1 (SL: SW SE NW, Sec 32-T3S-R2E), a planned horizontal hole.
