摘要

A study is presented that will investigate the role of severe turbidity in the form of hypertriglyceridemia on spectrophotometric measurements in solutions.The4 aim is to see if such measuement parallels the effect of turbidity on densitometry of electropherograms and thin-layer chromatography plates as well as with reflectometry of reactions for clinically important molecules in biological fluids such as serum.If this solution study does not parallel measurement in solid mixtures,it seems reasonable to ask how variably diminished light relates to turbidity and how absorbance increases affect the measurements in a scattering medium.The principle of additivity in spectrophotometry would also be inportant in order for corrective blanking to be effective.Thus,the factors of a constant turbidity but with variable absorbances,the potentialattendant ability to scatter light,decreasing in rising systems and increasing in regressing systems along with the principle of additivity in spectrophotometry can be studied in this proposed investigation for solution measurement as compared to densitometry and reflectometry.
