摘要

An influence analysis of technological factors-affecting the life span of oxygen converter lining. Technological factors which are supposed to have a decisive influence on the life span were measured and evaluated (content of Si, S, P, temperatures of pig iron, tap temperatures of steel, basicity of slag, number of final blows and lining loss during campaign). Measurements of lining wear out were carried out with a laser device in the converter number 2 of the steel work number 1 of VSZ JSC. The analysis shows that the quality of refractories and guiding operation influences have a decisive role when evaluating the life span of oxygen converters.
