In smelting shaft furnaces main kinds of interactionsare in lower levels. There are follouing: the interactions of dropswith gas flow and metal drops by passing through slag layer, ofliquid melts films flowing along pieces of solid charge and amongmetal and slag layers in crucible. Film flowing of liquid melts wascharacterised of laminar regimes. The mass transfer between solidphases and liquid phases was mainly determined of filminteractions. The completion of mass transfer processes in this casein 1-2 decimal places more than in drops and layers interactions.
