摘要

It is necessary to study the geometrical quantities of general scroll profiles in a more easily understood and simple way, since it gives reference information for researchers to select appropriate scroll profiles when designing a scroll compressor. By using vector theory mainly, along with differential geometry and functional expression theories, the equations of all relevant geometric quantities of general scroll profiles such as the radius of curvature, gradual curve, curvature length, working chamber area and volumetric efficiency were calculated in detail. The form of equations above are simple, which allows researchers to focus on coefficient optimization process, provides a sound and efficient foundation for the theory of general scroll profiles.
