EVALUATION METHODS FOR THE QUALITY OF METALLIC COMPOSITE MATERIALS

The paper deals with the typical flaws of metallic composites, as well as come methods for the quality evaluation of these materials. Ultrasonic control possibilities of Al/SiC composites and the control specific features of metallic stratified composites by infrared termographic flow detection, mechanical impedance method and holographic analysis are presented.
