摘要

Drawing is one of the most frequent free forging operation. In order to establish the dependence between forging parameters it was experimentaly determined the correlation between lead, upsetting degree, shape geometry of the profile, absolute dimensions, temperature, friction, spreading unevenness, etc.In present paper it was experimental established the dependence between elongation coefficient, relative lead and upsetting degree on law carbon steel samples with 0,2 percent C and square section (square 50 mm).These results were compared with obtained values by different authors; it results an optimum value of the lead, using the biggest value of the upsetting degree which is allowed for the experimental material.
