All necessary data for the determining of thedrafting schedule for blomming are presented, including theworking and breaking periods and the rolling pressure, force andtorque calculation. This represents a useful synthesis for theinterested specialists. A computer program was developed basedon these information and it may be considered as an EXPERTSYSTEM. It consists of different parts solving the main stages inthe drafting schedule design, the calculation of the cage stress andof the rolling mill productivity for the determined schedule. Theusing of the program offers the possibility of a fast schedulecalculation for any technological variant and so it is possible tochoose the better one for practical needs. The program is useful forany technological design department and also for the students ofthe Materials Science and Engineering Faculty.
