The theme addressed the change takes place in active surface hardness of tools used in metal forming processes. In this regard, as shown by recent technical evolution of industrial metals and alloys processed by plastic deformation shows an increasing interest in the sea. The work is part of a field of great current, that of technology and reliability of technological equipment used in metal forming operations.
