One of the most important factors on quality of molded plastic parts is the cooling of the mold. The geometrical stability of the mold, stressed by clamping and injection pressure conjugated with the temperature of the molten plastic, is affected depending directly by the construction material of the mold, the dimension and geometry of the injected part and the type of injected polymer.
