摘要

The paper aims to present some data regarding the evolution of energy transfer phenomenas evaluation in the iron and steel industry during the last two decades. Main trends in evolution of these process, together with trends of operational cost diminuation, are presented. Taking into account the evolution of economical phenomenas in Romania of 1990-2000 decade, the authors attempt to present some suggestions regarding the bettering of energy consumptions in the iron and steel industry. At the same time, a greater attention to the mathematical modeling of metallurgical process in order to optimize the energy consumptions, has to be given.
