The IronMan 250 MIG welder from Hobart Welders, Appleton, WI delivers 250 amps of power to weld 1/2 in. mild steel, 3/8 in. stainless steel and 3/8 in. aluminum-all in a single pass for greater productivity.Heavy duty fabrication can also mean welding thin gauge metal for a 10-hour shift. That's why Hobart designed the IronMan 250 with the low-end arc control-welding at less than 40 amps and 17 volts-to weld 22 gauge steel with limited arc flutter, spatter or burn-through. It also welds aluminum down to 16 gauge and stainless steel as thin as 18 gauge.
