Starting from Entin-Zener relation regarding the pearlite lamells thickness variation depending on temperature, an application has been made taking into account the hypothesis of virtual and real pearlitic and bainitic prelamells, starting from austenite during the incubation period, taking in consideration a continuous diffusion transformation mechanism, an exponential relation is theoretically obtained for cementitic and pearlitic lamells. The Entin-Zener relation is also valid for bainitic lamells fragmentation sub-subunits thickness.
