von Moos Stahl to install reducing & sizing block

von Moos Stahl AG, Emmenbrucke, a Swiss Steel Group company dedicated to the manufacturing and processing of high grade, special and free-cutting steel, has decided to install a 3-roll reducing & sizing block (RSB) supplied by Friedrich Kocks GmbH & Co., Germany.The new 5-stand 370 mm RSB will be integrated in the existing bar mill as a finishing block for the current range of rounds from 13.7 to 57.0 mm for straight bar or bar-in-coil as well as for the equivalent hexagon dimensions. In addition, the 3-roll RSB will supply all the required feeders for the wire block. By quickly changing between the individual production lines, plant availability will be increased considerably.
