The American Precision Museum, located in Vermont's Precision Valley along the Connecticut River, opens for its 41st season on May 26. Featured exhibit this year is the new Doodles, Drafts & Designs, which is drawn from the collections of the National Museum of American History and the Smithsonian Institution Libraries. It "documents two centuries of American ingenuity and industry, from the inventor's hand to the investor's board room, from patent office to factory floor," according to museum executive director Ann Lawless. Reproductions encompass familiar domestic and industrial icons, as well as ideas that never got off the drawing board.
