The change from CAM-Autos to CNC sliding head machines has allowed Technoturn to take full advantage of the' one-hit' philosophy, virtually eliminating second operation work and dramatically improving repeatability and consistency in the production of turned components. FORMED in July 1995, with the help from Sussex Enterprise and the local District Council, and not far from William the Conqueror's landing spot, as St Leonards-on-Sea, Hastings, Technoturn is a shining example of a modern lean small turned parts subcontractor, capable of responding swiftly to changing customer demands on a very price competitive basis.
