A milt monitoring system has been developed which is modular in structure and capable of being optimally adapted to the individual needs of mill operators. This monitoring system, called RoCoCo(Rolling Condition Control), was specially designedfor use in rolling mills, where it has a proven track record. It enables the operator to monitor and analyse both mill condition and product quality as well as to provide for optimum scheduling of maintenance work with regard to the production process.
