Laser measurement of lengths and speeds

Mesacon Gesellschaft fur Messtechnik mbH produces laser-optical systems for the non-contact measurement of lengths, speeds, profiles and contours. This type of measurement is applicable for applications where the use of mechanical instruments is not recommendable on account of slip or wear, material properties and surfaces. It enables fast localization of defects, minimization of production scrap and reliable maintenance of prescribed dimensional tolerances. Laser-optical measuring systems thus considerably contribute to the improvement of quality, increase in productivity and reduction of costs.
