New controller for process control systems

The new Advant controllers supplied by ABB Industrietechnik AG are used for monitoring functions, from logical checking up to control and regulation -inclusive of self-adjusting adaptive functions. The Advant 110 and 400 series units have expanded communication possibilities and can operate as a standalone solution or be incorporated in an installation-wide system. They thus keep open access to future technologies and additionally safeguard previous investments in existing systems because they operate with an open system architecture and with the Advant OCS (Open Control System) overlapping process control system.
