The Pevicoat Technical Service Centre is a service concept for flexible paint supply and simplified stock management. It takes over the stock and waste management from the coil coater. On-site BASF technical staff offer technical support and advice, freeing up the manufacturer for the work of coating and distributing precoated sheet. The Pevicoat Technical Service Centre produces the exact quantity of paint. Sited next to the paint line of the coil coater it is operated by highly skilled BASF Coatings personnel. Thus, stockholding can be minimised by producing exact quantities and recycling residual paint. Line utilisation improves through high flexibility and speed of response. Links with satellite paint lines ensure JIT production and delivery. The Pevicoat Technical Service Centre has an almost 10 year proven track record.
