Eko Stahl, Germany, places further orders for BF

Voest-EBG Anlagentechnik GmbH (VEA), a subsidiary of VA Tech-Unternehmen Elektro-Bau AG (EBG) and Voest-Alpine Machinery Construction Engineering (MCE), has received an order from Eko Stahl for the instrumentation of the new blast furnace 5A at Eisenhuttenstadt and the modernization of the existing sintering plant. The order volume amounts to ATS 35 million. The contract includes the engineering and documentation, selection and procurement of all field instruments, the delivery, installation and commissioning for around 1600 measuring points. The test run is scheduled to take place in 1997.
