New compact hydraulic clay gun

Woodings Industrial Corporation, USA, a leading manufacturer of tools for the metals industry, has developed a new high-pressure compact hydraulic clay gun for older blast furnaces, especially those that have limited cast house floor area.The new gun is built with the same capabilities as Wodings' larger gun even though it is engineered to fit into a smaller area. Containing the same rigid structure as the large gun, the compact hydraulic clay gun can develop up to 20000 hPa nozzle pressure. Options associated with the larger gun such as monitoring of clay volume and tap hole position are also available with the smaller gun.
