Spray Forming-International Conference Focus

摘要

A modified process involving the direct casting of high liquid content slurries produced by spray forming will be introduced to the conference, as will a study of the semi-solid forming of spray formed products. Finally, the more fundamental aspects of spray forming will be debated, including process modelling (to predict shape, yield, microstructure, etc); computer aided process planning/simulation and physical properties of alloys at high temperatures. The conference will bring together all the major, worldwide participants in' the spray forming field and will present the most up-to-date information on this rapidly growing technology which offers a low-cost, large-scale manufacturing route for advanced alloys.
