A strong rebound in steel prices this year has led north China’s Hesteelto report a net profit that is up two-and-a-half times in the threemonths to September.The mill, formerly known as Hebei Iron & Steel, recorded a netprofit of 524.34 million yuan ($77.42 million) for the third quarter,compared with 150.52 million yuan ($22.23 million) over the sameperiod of last year, according to its latest financial report publishedlate on Wednesday October 26.
