Alumina prices made slight gains last week, as refinery cuts anddisruptions started to have a positive impact on the market.After consecutive weeks of price declines dominated the fourthquarter, Metal Bulletin’s fob Australia alumina index settled at$199.52 per tonne on Friday January 22, up marginally from $198.06per tonne the previous week.
