The Hoogovens group plate mill in Koblenz, Germany ordered from the Austrian company Ebner a gas-fired electric-heated roller-hearth furnace facility to anneal aluminium plates horizontally. The rolling mill in Koblenz belongs to the Dutch steel and aluminium group Koninklijke Hoogovens. Engineering, manufacture and assembly of all facility components to be carried out in the parent firm in Linz. The modular construction of the furnace made it possible to install the facility (turnkey supply) fast and efficiently, Ebner says.
