Containerized ferrous scrap shipments from the US West Coast havereportedly been left floating in limbo on the ocean after a Taiwanesebuyer allegedly cancelled numerous orders late last week as themarket went into a tailspin.The containers of scrap en route to Taiwan were sold on openaccount and were not secured with letters of credit, leaving theselling party exposed, sources said.
