Jiangxi Copper, China’s largest copper smelter, reported a 78% drop inits 2015 net profit due to lower copper prices and the slowdown in theglobal economy.Net profit totalled 600 million yuan ($92.45 million) for the wholeof 2015, down 77.65% from a year ago, the company said in astatement on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Wednesday March 23 .Net profit deducting non-recurring gains and losses dived to 122million yuan last year, down 92.97% year-on-year.
