Glencore’s ferro-alloys assets generated EBIT (earnings beforeinterest and tax) of $138 million in 2015, down 15% year-on-year.The trader-miner reported a net loss of $4.96 billion for the year,compared with a profit of $2.31 billion in 2014.The ferro-alloys division, heavily exposed to the oversuppliedchrome and manganese markets, outperformed divisions includingnickel, zinc and iron ore.
