Zinc creates clubhouse design

Zinc panels were specified to clad the exterior fagade and portions of the roof on Boeddeker Park Clubhouse, located in downtown San Francisco's densely populated Tenderloin neighborhood. Many of the 20,000 residents the park serves do not have backyards. It was originally configured in 1985. Brian Milman is partner at WRNS Studio, the architecture firm for the project, says the project was a good opportunity to make an improvement. "This kind of project doesn't come along very often in historic urban neighborhoods that have a great need for open space," he says.
