Pre-Engineered Buildings And Metal Panels Provide Attractive Durability

As the City of Oldsmar, FL, was planning its new municipal services center, it expressed its desire to have an attractive facility which used durable, low maintenance materials. This was accomplished through the use of pre-engineered metal building systems and metal panels from VP Buildings, Memphis, TN. The 35,000 sq.ft. multi-building complex utilized rigid steel framing systems with purlins for each building. The administrative office building had a 58' clear span, while the vehicle maintenance structure had a 40' clear span. That building also incorporated a 10' overhang at the rear. A covered breezeway connects the two structures and is used as an employee relaxation and lunch area.
