Besides the fact each is topped with copper-colored metal roofing, the various buildings that make up the Black River Electric Cooperative headquarters and maintenance complex in Fredericktown, MO, share something else in common. All were constructed with pre-engineered metal building systems from Star Building Systems, Oklahoma City, OK. The five-building complex-situated on a 30-acre site-was designed by Bell Architecture Inc., Pine Bluff, MO. It was completed in March 2001. Sargent Construction Co., Fredericktown, MO, was the project's general contractor. The company has been a Star Builder since its founding in 1973.
