Resort recreated at Midwestern gold course

Metal panels were chosen to play up the resort look at Village Links, Glen Ellyn, III. The Village of Glen Ellyn-owned golf course has hosted 42 United States Golf Association and Professional Golfers' Association tour qualifying events. The $5.3 million project added 7,500 square feet to the existing 8,000-square-foot building, which was renovated. Craig Pryde, principal at PPK Architects, Glen Ellyn, says one goal of the multifaceted project was to make the restaurant a destination for the community. "The design team focused on the resort style of architecture that one might find in a destination setting," Pryde says.
