When designing for a healthier indoor environment, sunshades are a pivotal part of a building's design and functionality. In the last 15 years, sunshades have gone from being the first thing value engineered off a building to one of the first things an architect considers when designing a building's exterior skin. Not only do sunshades enhance the appearance of a building's facade, but they can save energy, reduce solar heat gain, reduce glare and manage daylight.
