China’s steel export growth slowed to 6.70% year-on-year in the firsteight months of 2016, down from 20% year-on-year in 2015, theSouth East Asia Iron and Steel Institute (Seaisi) on Thursday November3.China’s exports to member countries of the Association ofSoutheast Asian Nations (Asean) increased by 22.70% year-on-year inthe same period to 25.20 million tonnes and accounted for 33% ofChina’s total steel exports, Seaisi said.
