Stillwater Mining has stopped mill operations at its Stillwater platinum and palladium mine in Nye, Montana in order to upgrade the SAG mill.Our plan is to have the SAG mill back in operation within 10-14 days. Currently we have about 20,000 tonnes of ore stockpiled and this will increase, but supply is expected to be used by the end of the fourth quarter," said Stillwater chairman and ceo Bill Nettles.
