Pre-engineered metal building system creates student fitness center

Omaha, Neb.-based Creighton University's Ras-mussen Fitness & Sports Center features a metal building system from Behlen Building Systems, Columbus, Neb. B-D Construction, Columbus, erected the system, which encompasses nearly 40,000 square feet of Behlen's custom color ZL-24 standing seam roof system. The building also features 12,000 square feet of Houston-based MBCI's FW-120 concealed fastener wall panel in a custom color. The lower portion of the wall construction, behind the masonry, implemented girts spaced 2 feet on-center and metal building wall panel with brick attached to it.
