In addition to being its largest, Royal Caribbean Cruises' third customer service center may also be its most visually impressive. Located in Springfield, OR, the 162,000 sq. ft. building has a decidedly nautical look, due in part to a number of factors, including the use of Dri-Design aluminum wall panels on its exterior. Integrated Architecture of Grand Rapids, Ml, was the project's designer but gives credit to Russ Bogue, Royal Caribbean's director of global facilities and properties, for the overall design concept. "We just made it happen," said George Ehrich, Integrated Architects' project designer. "Russ, who is also an architect, was the major force in the preliminary design."
