Live Demonstrations Focus On Roof And Wall Design And Installation

Hands-on demonstrations, conducted on the exhibit floor, have become a popular tradition with METALCON attendees. Coordinated by the Metal Construction Association, these daily presentations provide valuable instruction to product installers and project designers. MCA's Residential Roof Council will demonstrate how a wide variety of metal panels are used for steep slope roofing applications in the residential marketplace. All products shown will display commonly found detailing required for these applications. Some of the products and techniques showcased will include a modular metal tile profile that uses stone coating technology, installation methods of painted modular shingles, a wide variety of vertical seam panels and specialty metals such as copper, zinc and stainless steel.
