With masonry and concrete considered too heavy, and EIFS deemed visually incompatible, the designers responsible for the expansion of the University of Tennessee's Neyland Stadium turned to insulated metal wall panels. According to CENTRIA, the Moon Township, PA-based manufacturer of the metal wall panels and integrated windows used on the project, weight an ease of installation were primary considerations in the selection of its products. Another factor was the availability of the panels in the desired custom colors.
