Metal Provides Numerous Design Options For Manufacturing Facility

Completed in April 2001, the Prompt Precision manufacturing facility is an example of what can be accomplished with metal wall systems on a pre-engineered structure. The 40,000 sq. ft. building located in Ceres, CA, incorporates many interesting design elements, while adhering to reasonable budget constraints.Selected for their modern, high-tech look and insulating vale, the top portion of the exterior walls feature over 13,000 sq. ft. of API's Centurywall 3000 insulated architectural panels. They feature 22-gauge smooth exterior faces, with Kynar Ultramet C paint system containing mica flakes to provide a deep, solver metallic color. Panel modules are 36" wide and up to 15' long, with cores of 2" expanded polystyrene providing an R-9 insulating vale. The interior faces are 26-gauge SMP while-painted steel.
