Cobalt prices on the US spot market have been virtually unmoved in recent days, and there is little sign of an improvement even as the metals sector cranks up after the summer slowdown.Prices appear to be in a state of flux as the economic downturn increasingly weighs on cobalt consuming industries, said observers. In particular there has been a knock-on effect from bad sales in the automotive and electronics industries.
